Some of Our Staff at Jasmine House:

	Helena Hawkins Qualified as a registered General Nurse in 1990. Worked on an acute medical ward 7 years, specializing in respiratory, gastric and renal care. Then worked as a Nurse Advisor for an independent company who specialized in providing equipment for pressure sore prevention and treatment, as well as spinal injuries. This was also a teaching role and Helena holds the ENB 998 Teaching and Assessing in clinical Practice. For the past 9 years Helena has held a management position within nursing homes, starting as a Deptuy and then being manager of her previous 2 homes. Since joining Jasmine House in 2003 Helena has gained her Registered Managers Award.
	Vanessa Morris Vanessa is a qualified Moving & Handling Trainer. Her nursing experience includes 6 years specifically relating to Dementia Care, and then for the past 7 years Vanessa has undertaken several courses specific to End of Life Care. She has been instrumental in the accreditation of Jasmine House with Gold Standards Framework in End of Life.
	Carolyn Padwick Carolyn qualified as a registered general and Sick Childrens Nurse in 1982. Worked in various hospital environments until 1996 when she decided she preferred Care of the Elderly and moved into the Nursing Home setting. Quickly moved from Nursing to management within the nursing home, and also developed a particular interest in dementia care. Carolyn has undertaken carious management and dementia courses to support this. Carolyn joined Jasmine House in August 2007.
	Jean Channing Jean has obtained both City & Guilds 1 & 2 in Catering, and has over 18 years experience of catering specifically within Nursing Homes.
